Feeling bored in the studio? Join us as we go back to the basics. Come take advantage of this unique opportunity to practice the complex interactions of light and shadow on the human figure.
Live Models will be provided every two weeks by CNMA on Thursday nights* from 6-8 PM.
The model will start off with several short poses to allow artists to warm up and then will hold longer poses for up to 45 minutes each. The Center provides chairs, tables, and the model. Several easels and drawing boards will be provided, so come early to claim one before they run out. All other supplies are provided by the artist.
$15 per session
*Starting in April, Live Drawing will be moved to every Tuesday night from 7-9 PM.

Summer Adult Recurring Classes
Botanical Drawing Techniques with Sarah Siddig
Drawing is a skill that can be acquired, just like learning to read or ride a bicycle. This course teaches the specific requirements for training the eye to observe detail and for understanding the standards of form, measuring, foreshortening and perspective that are essential for a foundation in botanical art. Students will learn specific industry standards, such as "light on form," that help to make your subject come alive. Beginners and experiences students benefit from this class.
Registration fees and class dates TBD
A materials list will be mailed to you after registration.
